Spring is on the way and a NYFW is almost over, so let's go over the brightest and smartest trends to see what we will be offered to wear. I specifically choose a word "offer" because it is up to us what trends we should adapt and not. I am a big supporter of slow fashion and I believe that we need to buy smart and sustainable. So let's see what are some inspirations from NYFW and how we can wear it in life.
1. Fringing
Inspired by the 1970's and late 1930's many designers offering us dresses and jackets with oversized fringe. I think the fringe is a great way to bring dynamism to your look.
2. Plastic
From vinyl coats to transperent raincoats and shoes ,plastic fabrics were everywhere! It is definetely a come back from 1970's and late 1990's
3.Ruffles
Well, ruffles are never going to be out of style, but this season structured and stiff fabrics bring a new life to ruffles. It is more sculptural than romantic indeed.
4. Check Print
Check Print is not going anywhere, you can find it any print and color, so get inspired and find vintage!
5.Western
My favorite and I think the most universal trend is Wild West theme. From denim suits to cowboy boots it would look great on any gender, age or body type. I think no one did better western than 1970's.
As you can see, the fashion always goes around, so just be yourself and buy what you think will stay.
